About The Karma Missing Pet Network

The Karma Missing Pet Network is a real-time data service that can search for recent missing pets in your area. Search for missing dogs, cats, or any other pet around your current location. If you see a missing pet flyer posted somewhere, take a picture of it and post it on our site or app!

About Me

My name is Ryan Vinson. I volunteer at an animal rescue in Los Angeles, CA. I decided to create this service after seeing so many missing pet signs posted all over my city. From the coffee shop to my vet's wall there are too many of these signs posted.

As a software engineer for 15 years, I think that a service with real time data would help people keep an eye out for missing pets better then the random posted sheet of paper.

Missing Pets

This is where you can search for any lost animals in the database. Listings are posted by other users of the site in addition to data we pull from Facebook and Twitter. Listings closest to you are shown first (if you use Location), followed by listings considered the most relevant. You can also search by keyword. All listings can be reported to us if they are not very useful. The algorithm I use to pull data from Twitter and Facebook is not perfect. You can help make sure only the best listings show up by choosing the checkmark or X.

Upload Missing Pet/ Upload Pet Found

This is where you can upload a new listing to the site. New listings are available immediately. I recommend including an image of the animal you are posting.
